Infotone Partners with ETIRA to Champion Eco-Friendly Printing Solutions

Infotone, a prominent remanufacturer and supplier of printer consumables in the UK and Ireland, has recently joined forces with the European Toner and Inkjet Remanufacturers Association (ETIRA) to promote eco-friendly practices within the printing industry.

Based in Scarborough, UK, Infotone has been steadfast in its mission to provide sustainable and affordable printing solutions. The company specialises in delivering high-quality remanufactured ink and toner cartridges that are compatible with all leading printer brands. Additionally, Infotone’s recycling service includes free collection of empty cartridges, further emphasising their dedication to environmental responsibility.

By joining ETIRA, Infotone is taking a significant step towards strengthening its commitment to sustainable printing and the remanufacturing industry. The partnership will enable Infotone to work closely with other industry leaders, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive innovation and reduce the environmental impact of printing.

Jamie Hughes, founder and Managing Director of Infotone, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration: “At Infotone, our core values revolve around providing affordable, high-quality printer cartridges while also championing sustainability. Joining ETIRA allows us to collaborate with like-minded organisations to advance the remanufacturing industry and promote eco-friendly practices on a broader scale.”

ETIRA President, Javier Martinez, also welcomed Infotone to the association, stating, “We are excited to have Infotone as a member of ETIRA. Their dedication to remanufacturing and environmental responsibility makes them a valuable addition to our association, and we look forward to working together to further promote sustainable printing solutions.”

With approximately 70 percent of ink and toner cartridges discarded after a single use, remanufacturing offers a viable solution to reduce waste and minimise the carbon footprint of printing. According to ETIRA, remanufacturing cartridges can cut CO2 emissions by up to 60 percent, making it a critical component of sustainable printing practices.
